Characterization by X-ray µCT of the air-filled porosity of an agricultural soil at different matric potentials

Résumé : X-ray microtomography is used to visualize and characterize the soil pore space and therefore improve our understanding of the role of the soil architecture on the soil processes and eventually the soil functions. Sarah Smet will present you results about the use of this tool on agricultural soil samples that are being progressively dried.
